10U AA TEXAS TIGERS CHAMPIONS IN BUFFALO

The Texas Tigers 10U AA Team competed in the 47th Annual Gene Harrington Winter Ice Experience in Buffalo/Niagara, New York.

During this trip, several players and families visited Niagara Falls and the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto.

Some other great things happened on the trip and some of those were:

Ryan Kim was credited with his first travel hockey goal during this tournament.

Townsend Nunn registered his first travel hockey shutout during this tournament. By tournament’s end, Townsend would record two shutouts.

Our Tigers played 4 Canadian teams and 1 US team during with tournament and we went 4 & 1.
(Beat all 4 Canadian teams)

The Championship Game ended in the 4th OT period.

The format for the 4th OT period:
5 on 5 for 4 minutes(run clock) - NO Goalies.
Noah Thurston had the game-winner for our Tigers!
